One problem however is that there's a big disconnect between gameplay and story you could have a maid that has already been gangbanged countless times in regular scenes and is designated as a 'free' maid who regularly does prostitution, but that isn't reflected in the proper NTR story routes at all which pretty much always treat the girls as if they were faithful maids up to that point. It's arguably the most fleshed out portion of the game.

on the KK side, and yes, there's definitely some grifters like you said, who I also dislike. You don't have many people flaunting private mods that are literally just asset rips to begin with, people share shit openly, etc. I just personally think Illusion games have fostered a better community, and there's probably a side effect there of when someone comes from there to try these games out, they get repulsed by how hostile and private the community is. Like I said, I enjoy both games and was just trying to come up with an answer as to why the KK side dislikes CM/COM. Not to mention the troubles that many mod creators have gone through to teach others how to mod and made tutorials on it in regards to Illusion games. Hell, people are downright hostile about that if anything.

As a whole however, I find it's really open and collaborative - card sharing is also a ton of fun when you make something that others want, which never happened on the meido side. The dregs of the KK community are definitely a blight on it, and there's no getting around that.
